 Sorry for not posting. The snow knocked my wifi out. Anyway, I've been thinking, and I feel the need to clarify a few things. First of all, my family's disappearance isn't some kind of "spooky mystery." I know exactly what happened to them: my mother, in her infinite narcissism, pulled up stakes and relocated with Dad and Harper. She would have had no trouble convincing "perfect golden child" Sophia to go no-contact with me- although I don't know how she convinced Cayden. I kind of feel betrayed.  Well, doesn't matter. Mom always gets her way in the end. Convincing the entire town to pretend my family never existed in the first place is a bit trickier, but Mom could pull it off. We live in a relatively small town (population of about 3k) and Mom is very influential. She's on the PTA, Board of Education, volunteers at the church, friends with the mayor AND the sheriff, etc. Considering how good she is at manipulating people, it's not surp...

This photograph was taken with an old VHS camcorder and then readjusted with my computer to show the entity as I see it. It's not quite perfect, but it's close enough. For some reason, digital cameras have a harder time capturing the Running than analog cameras.   

  In the early AM hours of November 1st, I came downstairs and saw it. I took the photo when I first saw it. It has appeared all over my house. Everywhere. And none of my friends are answering their phones. It has been two months.  It's like they all forgot I existed. I call it the Running, because at night, it runs back and forth. Up and down. On the walls. On the ceiling. When I sleep, it sits. By my bed. Over me, on the ceiling. It watches me. I've been out. I'm not a ghost or something, because people can see me. And I can see people. I've talked to them. But I don't bring up my family anymore. They think I'm not all there in the head. They don't think my family exists. I'm starting to believe them.

 My name is R. Ashcroft, and I've been experiencing absolutely hellish things ever since my family disappeared. It all started on my birthday, October 31st. Yes, I know. How cliche- the edgelord surname, the Halloween birthdate, the "ooh SPOOPY lol" story. If it makes you feel any better, my parents names were Will and Mia, and my older siblings were Sophia and Cayden. My younger sister was Harper. The only reason I got an edgy name to match my unfortunate surname and birthdate (not going to tell you what it is) is because I was born on Halloween. But that's besides the point. Mom told me to take Harper out trick-or-treating while she cleaned the house. I didn't want to. I was supposed to be going to a party with friends. We had an argument, which culminated in me screaming "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TAKE MY THIRTEEN YEAR OLD SISTER TRICK-OR-TREATING!"  She silently glared at me and then called Sophia- Sophia, the "golden child...
